Elite Iqraa Academy teaches Arabic, Qur'an and Islamic studies to children, teenagers and adults in Abuja: at the academy, at home for children, online, or by WhatsApp voice.

I am Ahlam Musa, Moroccan by origin, Nigerian in spirit — I have lived, learned, and built my life here for over twenty years. In 2018, I founded Elite Iqraa Academy not just as a language center, but as an oasis of education and a message: I believe that whoever knows their language knows themselves. We have dedicated our hearts to teaching Arabic and the Holy Qur’an. I believe a dream needs only a faithful heart, steady steps, and a spirit that never gives up.

What we do
Programmes that build on each other, one path through them, and a teacher who knows where the student actually is.
A student can spend years reciting without understanding a word, or learn grammar without ever reading fluently. The programmes here are separate on purpose (reading, writing, recitation, memorisation, meaning) so that a student builds each one deliberately rather than hoping the rest arrives on its own. That holds whether the student is six or thirty-six.

Meaningful education goes beyond acquiring knowledge. We build a supportive learning experience that helps students develop their language, strengthen their connection with the Qur’an, and grow in knowledge and character.
Who teaches and who runs it
Arab expertise, Nigerian experience
The academy brings together Arab expertise in the language and its sciences with real experience of Nigerian education: how families here actually plan a week, what a child is already carrying from school, and what it takes for a programme to survive contact with a real term.
Administration
The academy is run by qualified and experienced Arab educational management. Programmes are planned, staffed and reviewed by people whose profession is running schools, so the structure behind the student's classes is deliberate rather than improvised term by term.
Teaching team
Qualified teachers, men and women, all native, have experience, with real training behind them. Female teachers are available on request.
Alongside the teaching team, the academy keeps specialised staff for the areas that need them (memorisation and revision, tajwīd, and calligraphy) rather than asking one teacher to cover everything.

Carefully designed learning programmes suited to the student’s age and level, so you always know what comes next rather than drifting lesson to lesson.
Flexible learning options
Choose classes at the academy in Abuja, live online lessons, the WhatsApp voice programme, or home tutoring for children, group or private, to fit your family’s week.
Continuous progress monitoring
Ongoing guidance, assessment and follow-up throughout the learning journey, with progress tracked and shared rather than assumed.

What we hold to
Understanding before speed
A student who reads one page correctly has done more than one who has rushed through ten. We move at the pace a student is genuinely learning at, and we tell you what that pace is rather than reporting pages covered.
Adab is taught, not assumed
Character is part of the curriculum rather than something we hope arrives alongside it. How a student treats a teacher, a classmate and a muṣḥaf is taught as deliberately as tajwīd is.
The family's week comes first
Abuja families are busy and the school day runs long. There is a timetable for every kind of week (weekdays or weekends, at the academy, at home for children, or online), so you choose what fits instead of building your week around us.
Nothing is hidden from you
You should never have to ask how the student is doing. Classes are small enough that the teacher genuinely knows, and telling you is part of the job rather than a favour.
